WHY, Question?

For so long, human progress has been dictated by a single force, or a burning thought.

It always starts with a “Question
Why, What, How, Who and When?

In today’s society and reality, most people I know, have stopped asking questions. They seem to avoid the questions that really perplex and assuage changes in their psyche; most afraid to come to a realization that will make them go;

Hey! What if...

That is the beginning of exploration and possibility...

This awakening has brought about constant evolution & progress (*perspective) in our cultures, technology and humanity as a whole. The power of “Questions” is, in my mind an under-rated and unappreciated facet of the human condition. Our willingness to take on new and exciting arenas is often juxtaposed with danger and risk. Most people find this a struggle, until they start questioning the status quo; but more importantly, start questioning themselves and their inner thoughts.

So unless, we start questioning with new fervor and enthusiasm, we will stay in a conundrum, a diffident existence.

So I say now, what if...?

“What is the first business of one who practices philosophy? To get rid of self-conceit. For it is impossible for anyone to begin to learn that which he thinks he already knows.”

Quote from Epictetus

“Truth is not born nor is it to be found inside the head of an individual person, it is born between people collectively searching for truth, in the process of their dialogic interaction.” (Bakhtin, Dialogic Imagination,110).

Quote form Mikhail Bakhtin
